Obituary For Bradley Wayne Welsh
It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Brad Welsh. An amazing husband, loving father and Papa as well as a loyal friend to many.
Brad was born in Whitehorse and moved to Dawson Creek at the age of 5. He grew up playing hockey and discovered his love for fishing, hunting and camping at an early age.
Brad married Dana in 1983, and they moved to Grande Prairie in 1985. Their family began with the birth of their son Colton in 1989, followed by their daughters Whitney in 1992 and Corbin in 1997.
Brad enjoyed an illustrious career where he built upon so many quality relationships. He made so many trusted friends whom he deeply respected.
Brad is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Dana; Son Colton (Emily), Daughter Whitney, Daughter Corbin (Kelsey), Grandson Connor, Granddaughter Makena, Brothers Terry, Mitch (Deb) and Darcy (Leanne), as well as many beloved extended family members. Brad is predeceased by his mother, Anne Welsh and his father Jack Welsh.
A Gathering of Friends and Family will take place on Saturday January 11, 2025, at Peoples Church, 11850 108 St Grande Prairie at 2 pm.
