Peacefully, at the Valley Manor Long Term Care, Barry’s Bay, on Tuesday, January 21, 2025. Elmer Bowman, age 88 of Lake St. Peter, was the beloved husband of Wendy (Robertson) Bowman, and the late Joan (Dawson) 2003. Loving father of Lea Neuman (Bryden), Louise Nieman (Chester), Tim Bowman (Lois), Liz Eagles (Les), Monica Bowman, and stepfather of Tanya Brown (Faron). Loved grandfather, and great-grandfather. Predeceased by his parents Richard and Jane Bowman, his brother Jim Bowman, and his sister Betty Kavanagh. Fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews and many friends. Elmer’s family will receive relatives and friends at the M.G. Daly Funeral Home (200 Old Hastings Road, Maynooth) on Sunday, January 26, 2025, from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. & 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will take place at The Word of Life Outreach Church (2016 Highway 127, Lake St. Peter), on Monday, January 27, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. Interment at St. Peter’s United Church Cemetery, Lake St. Peter, in the spring.
