Griffin, Bonnie Louise
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Bonnie Griffin, who passed away peacefully on November 7, 2025, at Collingwood General and Marine Hospital, at the age of 71.
Bonnie was predeceased by her husband Paul Nobes, her partner Jerry McPherson, and her beloved son Paul Nobes. She will be lovingly remembered as the proud and devoted mother of Tracey Bryans (Phil), Doug Nobes (Jeanette Walters), and Bonnie Griffin (Ross Mead). Bonnie will also be fondly remembered by her many grandchildren, who brought her great joy.
Born and raised in Collingwood, Bonnie was the cherished daughter of the late William and Sarah Griffin. She is survived by her siblings Lizzy, Donna, Sid (Heather), and Charlotte (Pete).
Bonnie did not have an easy life, but despite her challenges, she always remained positive. She was outspoken, loyal, and a true friend to many. Bonnie loved her family deeply and found simple joy in life’s little pleasures—especially scratch bingo tickets.
Her strength, humour, and kindness will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday December 20, 2025, from 2-5 p.m. at the Royal Canadian Legion in Collingwood.
