Bobbi Nicholls Obituary
Left this Earth on Tuesday, March 11, 2025 to join her beloved husband and dance partner, Glenn “Tiny” Nicholls (2011). Born in Derby Township on Friday, July 30, 1937, Roberta “Bobbi” Marie Nicholls (nee Nickle) was in her 88th year.
Loving mother of Jeff (Madeleine), Brian (Adele), Lori, and Steve (Llori). Proud grandma of Seamus, Molly, Sam, Gracie, Marcus, Michaela, and William. Dear sister of Albert and Larry. Bobbi will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all her family and friends.
Predeceased by her parents Albert and Lottie Nickle, her sisters Doreen, Helen, Evelyn, and Bernice, her brother Dennis, and her daughter-in-law Pernille.
Bobbi grew up in the Big Bay area where she and Tiny returned to spend many summers with their family. She loved socializing with her close circle of friends and having family nearby. Bobbi was always up to trying something new and found enjoyment dancing, especially square and line dancing. She was a strong and resilient woman who remained active until later in her life when her challenge with Alzheimer’s stole much of her independence, and so much more.
Bobbi’s family would like to express their gratitude to the staff of Rockwood Terrace Nursing Home in Durham, for their excellent care, kindness and support.
In keeping with Bobbi’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Arrangements are entrusted to Brian E. Wood Funeral Home, Owen Sound, 519-376-7492.
