It is with heavy hearts we announce Bob’s passing on February 22, 2025, at the age of 77. Bob was the husband of Brenda (née Shepley), and they celebrated 30 years of marriage together. Beloved Dad of Robert (Robin) and Laura Godfroy. Treasured grandpa of Stacey Ryan (Will), Riley Coombs (Dana), Brandi Coombs, Andrew, Chris, Justin and Katelyn Godfroy. Great grandpa to Caydin, Zackary, Blayke and Beau Ryan. Predeceased by his parents Michael and Anne Coombs and son-in-law of Glenda and the late Keith Shepley. Brother of Kevin Coombs (Patti), Susan Vogt (Stephan), and Brian Coombs. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Also survived by several brothers and sisters-in-law. He was a loved uncle to many nieces and nephews.
Bob was a retired Chrysler worker of 30 years and a member of Unifor Local # 444. Bob is resting at the Kennedy Funeral Home Ltd. (519-776-7378) 128 Talbot St. North, Es on Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Bob’s life will be celebrated from the funeral home on Thursday at 11 a.m. Cremation will follow. Donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to Diabetes Canada.
