Obituary
William Walter (Bill) Ward passed away on January 12, 2025, aged 81, after a brief hospitalization at Southampton Hospital in Southampton, Ontario. Thank you to Dr.Cipolletti, the nurses, and everyone who contributed to his care.
Bill was son to the late Norman and Betty Ward, brother to Karen Stephens, husband to Lulu, father to Shane and father in-law to Stephen Legari, uncle to Ryan, Meaghan and Caitlan Stephens, brother in-law to Nelson and Gloria Ibaretta, and uncle to David and Xavier Ibarreta. Bill had many cousins and extended family in England, as well as family by marriage around the world. He was an unofficial brother to many close friends and unofficial uncle to many cousins.
Those who knew Bill will miss his stories and sense of humour. He will be remembered for his love of soccer, gardening, travel, nature, rock n’ roll, and for making friends wherever he went. He will be deeply missed by all.
