Bill Neufeld Obituary
Bill (Wilhelm) U. Neufeld, 81, of Steinbach, MB., passed away peacefully following a lengthy illness with pneumonia on Thursday, February 27, 2025, at Bethesda Regional Health Centre, Steinbach, MB.
He is survived by his beloved wife Dorothy Neufeld (nee Pateman), sons David and Douglas (Diane) and daughter Kerry (Darren). Grandchildren Ashley (Eric), Taylor (Bruno), Toshi and Bailey. Great-Grandchildren Brielle, Ari, Connor and Addison. He will also be lovingly remembered by his sister Martha Neufeld, brother in law Henry Kehler and sister-in-law Sarah Neufeld, along with many other extended family members and friends.
Bill was predeceased by his parents John and Katherina Neufeld, brother John Neufeld, sisters Nettie Kehler and Mary Peters and brother-in-law Jake Peters.
Dad was born on May 16, 1943 and grew up in Niverville. He met Dorothy in 1965 through mutual friends, they married on June 3rd 1967 in Winnipeg. Dad was a car enthusiast, we would hear many story’s about his 58 Merc and countless other cars he owned over the years. Dad also had a passion for his yard and would spend many an hour working with his tractor on their country property tilling, mowing and snow blowing.
Our family would like to extend our appreciation to the staff at Bethesda Regional Health Center for their excellent care and compassion and to all the friends and family that came to visit.
Dad will be cremated and his ashes will be laid to rest at a later date.
