In Loving Memory of Elizabeth Ann Chotowetz
Betty Ann, age 77, passed away on January 16, 2025, at Royal University Hospital in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Born on December 2, 1947, she was the daughter of Annie (Lauman) and Mike Stang.
Betty Ann was a devoted mother, grandmother, and friend. She was married to Dennis Walz, with whom she raised two daughters: Charlene (Brian) and their daughter, Pamela, and Kelly (Randy) and their children, Skylar (Kayleigh) and Tori. In 1997, Betty Ann married Alex Chotowetz.
She bravely faced a cancer diagnosis five years ago and overcame it with strength and resilience. This past month, her battle with cancer returned, and she met it with the same courage and grace that defined her life, surrounded by the love and support of her family.
Betty Ann is predeceased by her first husband, Dennis Walz; parents, Annie and Mike Stang; sister, Shirley; nephew, Erin; niece, Shawndra-Lae; and several of her in-laws.
Her memory will be cherished by her family and friends. She will be deeply missed, and her legacy of strength, love, and dedication will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
A private service will be held, and the family appreciates your support and prayers during this time.
