CONNELLY, Betty Kay (née Ranger) – Of Mount Forest, passed away peacefully at Louise Marshall Hospital on Monday, January 27, 2025 in her 88th year. She is predeceased by her loving husband of 63 years, Neil Connelly (2019). Loving mother of Guy Connelly and his wife Liz, and Gail Connelly and her spouse Darcy Brown. Cherished grandmother of Brandon (Scott), Carisa, and Kyle (Danielle); and great-grandmother to Ava and Olivia. Betty is predeceased by all of her six siblings, and will be fondly remembered by her sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, as well as extended family and friends.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the staff of Louise Marshall Hospital for the compassionate care they provided to our mother during her final days.
Entombment will take place at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Orangeville in the spring. A celebration of her life will also be held in the spring, details to follow. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Betty are asked to consider the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada.
