Betty-Joe Fendley Obituary
Elizabeth Jolene (Betty-Joe) Fendley, aged 38, of Georgetown, passed away on December 3, 2024.
She was born to parents Joseph Fendley (deceased) and Elizabeth Fendley on February 21, 1986 in Brampton, Ontario.
Betty-Joe attended the Community Living North Halton day program in Georgetown for much of her adult life, where she made cherished and lasting friendships.
She loved horseback riding, swimming, and spending time with family. Betty-Joe was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, and paternal grandmother, her father Joseph Fendley, and her Uncle Mark Fendley. Betty-Joe is survived by her mother Elizabeth, her Aunt Anna White and partner Jan Gilian, cousins Lisa and Marie, her Aunt Marie Louth and husband Larry, cousins Chris, Steven and Nicole, Uncle Brad Fendley and his partner Susan Nicholl and cousins Shannon and Jason, Aunt Cathy Butler, and cousin Debbie, cousin Amber (daughter of Mark Fendley), her grandfather Don McCanless and his wife Brenda, and her Uncle Matt McCanless and his wife Pam, and cousins Mackenzie and Cooper, her Great Aunt Gail and her husband Norman, her Great Uncle Wayne McNiven, and her Great Aunt May Haynes.
A service honouring Betty-Joe’s life will be held on January 7, 2025 at 11:30 in the morning at Jones Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Road, Georgetown. Interment will follow in the Spring.
