Alice Elizabeth “Beth” (Melvin) Killins
Beth was born in St. Thomas May 25,1930 and died January 1,2025 in her 95th at London Extendicare where she had resided for over 3 years. Prior to that, she was a long-time resident of Gore Road, Dorchester.
Dearly loved mother of Ellen Smulders (Dennis Hock) and John (Monique) Killins. Grandmother of Greg (Lindsay), Sabrina (Carter), Heather (Ron), Chantelle (Christian), Suzanne (Patrick) and David (Makayla). Treasured great grandmother of Ainsley, Jack, Madison, Mya, Holly, Brett and Clara.
Fondly remembered by many good neighbours and friends.
Predeceased in 2023 by her beloved husband of 71 years, John Henry (Jack) Killins.
Beth was a public school teacher before her marriage at which time she became a homemaker and strong partner for Jack in their farming business.
A sincere thank you to everyone at Extendicare, London and 3rd floor staff for their excellent care. We appreciated the personal touch of her primary caregivers very much.
A private service will be held later.
As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Dorchester Food Bank, P.O. Box 101, 233 Minnie Street, Dorchester, ON N0L 1G0 would be appreciated.
