1951-2025
Bernice Ethelda Trecartin of East Brighton passed away on
Sunday, February 16, 2025, at the Upper River Valley Hospital in
Waterville. She was born July 27, 1951, and was the daughter of the
late Wavel and Priscilla DeMerchant. Besides her parents, she was
predeceased by an infant son, Eric Trecartin, and son, Ozzie
Trecartin; a grandson, Tyler King; and two sisters, Dorothy Trecartin
(David) and Shirley Carten.
Bernice is survived by her husband, Eric Trecartin of East
Brighton; children, Joey Trecartin (Sabra) of Limestone, Steven
Trecartin of East Brighton, William Trecartin of East Brighton, Jeremy
Ritchie of Woodstock, Eric Vrieze of East Brighton; grandchildren, Bon
Trecartin, Ozzie King, Brittany King, Heidi Trecartin (Caitlin
Prosser), Zachry Marr, Lincoln Trecartin, Gabrielle Johnson (Zachary),
Isaiah Trecartin, Cooper Trecartin, Wavel Trecartin, Derrick
Trecartin, Mary Trecartin, Gunner Trecartin, Erica King, Kris Michaud,
Lily Ritchie, Ella Ritchie, Nova Ritchie; great grandchildren, Rylan,
Ceara, Jackson, Cherri, Connor, Ryatte, Jaxon, Destiny, Oliver,
Dexter; siblings, Juanita Sprague (Lester), Kenny Boyer, Jimmy Boyer
(Joyce), Murray DeMerchant (Carolyn), Kay Grant (Doug), Matthew
Cogswell (Angela), Maynard DeLong (Cindy), Debbie Ritchie (Cliff);
several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 19, 2025, at
the Britton Funeral Home, 2 High Street, Hartland from 3:00 to 4:30
p.m. followed by the funeral service at 5:00 p.m. The interment will
be at a later date in the Greenwood Cemetery in Hartland.
