Peacefully and with family by her side the passing of
Beatrice Mary Gallant of Montague occurred on Sunday Feb 2nd 2025.
Beatrice was born in Launching August 2nd 1932 a loving daughter of
the late Hugh and Sarah (Gardiner) MacPhee.
Beatrice was a loving and devoted wife of
the late Edward Isadore Gallant. She dedicated her life to her family
and community, always offering kindness and warmth to those around
her. Loving mother to Rebecca Boucher (Dominique), David Gallant
(Leanne), Susan Young (Terry). Special grandmother to Adam,
Christopher, Susan (Jared) Sarah (Brad) Benjamin and Matthew. Special
great grandmother to Silas and Beatrice. Loving sister to Mae
MacCormack; and aunt to all her nieces and nephews. Predeceased by
daughter Heather Burns, brothers Joseph, Allan, Alfred, Paul; sister
Elaine Kane; and brothers-in-law Michael and Bud.
Having suffered with Alzheimer’s Disease Mom passed
away in the loving care of the Riverview Manor in Montague.
Bea’s family would like to express gratitude to the
caregivers at the Manor.
Resting at
Ferguson-Logan Funeral Home, 40 Wood Islands Road, Montague, PE for
visitation from 4pm to 7pm.
Funeral
Mass to be celebrated on Thursday, February 6, 2025, St.
Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, Montague at 11:00 am with a
reception to follow at the Church. Interment to follow the reception
in St. George’s Cemetery, St.
George’s.
If so desired, memorial contributions may be made to the
Riverview Manor Activities Fund.
