Peacefully on Wednesday, February 26th, 2025 at the age of 66. Beloved son of Velma and the late Leonard McConnell. Loving father of Danielle (David Wick), Sheri-Lynn (Francis Manly-Elliott), Brandon Hogg (Aleehsha) and Angela (Erick Schnieders) and Pete Poisson (Lisa). Proud popa of Blake, Jesse, Phoenix, Ace, Terrance, Sydney, Grace, Raylan and Malakai. Dear brother of Gwen (Steve Bartlett), Gail (Ted Gibson) and Kevin (Lynn McConnell). Barry will also be greatly missed by his other relatives and many friends.
Barry enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, watching hockey, gardening and wood working. His memory will live on through all his beautiful wood working pieces, his children and grandchildren.
Memorial donations to the Sick Kids Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family
A tree will be planted in memory of Barry in the Dods & McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.dodsandmcnair.com
