Obituary of Barbara Ann Graham
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, wife, sister, and grandmother, Barbara Ann Graham, known affectionately to many as Barb, who died peacefully on the evening of Sunday, April 20, 2025 at the age of 85, after a long and courageous battle with Alzheimer’s disease.
She is survived by her devoted husband of 69 years, Ed, who remained faithfully by her side throughout her illness. Together, they built a life full of love, family, and cherished memories.
She will be forever missed by her daughters, Sherri (David) and Cathy (Dave), who appreciated her steady presence and quiet support throughout their lives. She was a proud and loving grandmother to Alex, Brady, Ryan, and Caitlin, each of whom brought joy and light to her life.
Barb also leaves behind her beloved sisters, Dianne and Linda. She is predeceased by her siblings Velma, Enid, Lois, Lee, Clayton, Gordon, Stan, and Keith, and now joins them in peaceful rest. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Barb was a woman of grace and warmth, known for her kindness, her steady presence, and her love for life’s simple pleasures. She enjoyed many happy days on the golf course and at the curling rink, sharing laughter and camaraderie with friends and family alike. Her passion for these sports reflected her spirit—focused, fun-loving, and full of heart.
A celebration in her honor will be held on Saturday June 14, 2025, where friends and family are welcome to gather, remember, and celebrate her life. Details to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of New Brunswick , in memory of Barbara, to help support other families living with the challenges of Alzheimer’s disease.
