It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Barbara Rawn (née Lane), who passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 10, 2025, at the Collingwood General & Marine Hospital.
Beloved wife of Murray Rawn, Barbara was a devoted and loving mother to Wilburn (Ginger), Donald (Tammy), Marie (Vincent), and the late Gerald. She was a proud grandmother to Amy, Josh, and Melissa.
Barbara had a zest for life—she loved the open road on a motorcycle, found joy in her garden, was a talented sewer, and rarely turned down a good book. She had a soft spot for her cherished pets and a spirit marked by fierce independence, stubbornness, and a deep love for her family.
She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
As an expression of sympathy donations may be made to a charity of choice. Details of a memorial or celebration of life will be shared at a later date.
