With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Barbara Ann Cobb on February 18, 2025 in her 70th year. She passed away peacefully at the Hamilton General Hospital surrounded by her loved ones after a long battle with cancer. Barbara leaves behind her best friend and devoted husband Gregory Cobb, along with her two children Pamela (Colin) Campbell and Christopher (Amanda) Cobb. Barbara was a beloved grandmother to her six grandchildren, Noah (24) (Mekayla), Aidan (24), Ethan (22), Alyssa (18), Brianna (12), Lincoln (10) and great-grandson Nash (6 days). Barbara will also be greatly missed by her siblings, Sheila, Anna (Jim), Mame and Stephen (Erika), along with Greg’s six sisters, five brothers, their spouses, and many nieces, nephews, and friends. Predeceased by her brother, William (France) Fitzgerald.
Barbara was the heart of her family, she truly cherished her time spent with her loved ones, whether it was playing in family euchre tournaments, traveling the world on cruise trips, hosting annual jigs dinners or simply spending time at home in the backyard – if she was with her family, she was happy. To say that Barbara will be missed is an understatement, but the love she had for her family will live on in her memory forever.
Funeral arrangements entrusted to the Dwayne D. Budgell Funeral Home Ltd. A Memorial Mass will be held at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, 17 Washington Street, Paris, Ontario on Friday February 28, 2025 at 11 am. The service will be live streamed starting at 10:50 am. In Barb’s memory, donations to Hamilton Health Sciences would be appreciated by the family.
