Long, Audrey Elizabeth – Passed away peacefully at the Brantford General Hospital on Sunday, February 16th, 2025, at 80 years of age. Loving mother of Sharri Perry (Steve), Lisa Long (Kurt). Loving grandmother of Ryan Perry (Monica), Amanda Van Wyngaarden (Eric), Melissa Evans and David (DJ) Evans. Great grandmother of Sophia, Audrey and another on the way. Loving sister to Cliff (Jan) and Shirley McKinley. Predeceased by her parents Phillip and Mildred Eastall, brother-in-law Bob McKinley and younger brother Wayne. She will be missed by her nieces, Tracy McKinley and Rebecca (Steve) as well as great nieces Lennon and Sadie.
Audrey lived in Milton from 1977 and worked for Matthews Canada in Milton until she moved to Brantford in 2023. She loved her family, friends, going to the casino with her sister and niece. Was the biggest fan of the Toronto Blue Jays and could not wait for the preseason to start. The family would like to thank the staff and residents of Riverview Terrace. Audrey enjoyed her time there. Special thank you to Jean who made my mom laugh more than she had in years.
At Audrey’s request, cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation or service. Arrangements are entrusted to the Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 88 Brant Avenue, (519) 752-4331. Donations to Parkinson’s Canada or the charity of your choice would be appreciated. Condolences, donations and tributes are available at www. beckettglaves.com
A tree will be planted in memory of Audrey in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
