Obituary of Arthur Paul Lefstein
Arthur Paul Lefstein, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, died January 6, 2025, after fighting a long and brave battle with cancer. He was born in Niagara Falls, New York and moved to Toronto, Ontario where he met his beloved wife Bette at York University. Arthur (and family) was the owner/operator of the Town Cinemas in downtown St. Catharines for 50 years.
Arthur is survived by his wife Bette of over 51 years, his son Howard, his daughter Jessica (Frank), and his grandsons Miles and Ezra, his brothers Dennis (Tami) and Jeffrey (Linda) and nieces and nephews, and lifelong friend Bernie Willer. Services will be held at B’nai Israel Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the Walker Family Cancer Centre or Congregation B’nai Israel.
