Arthur Ruff
1932-2025
Arthur Abraham Ruff of Perth-Andover, NB, passed away peacefully at
the Upper River Valley Hospital on Wednesday, March 26, 2025.
Arthur was born in Oxbow, NB, on December 23, 1932. He was the son of
the late Abraham and Lenta (Padgett) Ruff. Arthur leaves behind his
daughters, Nancy Hunter (Stephen) of Gladwyn, NB, and Janet McDougall
of Perth-Andover, NB; his sons, Dennis Ruff (Donna) of Four Falls, NB,
and Joe Ruff (Shelley) of Perth-Andover, NB; his grandchildren, Tyson,
Rachel, Sally, Michael, Scott, and Eric; his great grandchildren,
Aubree, Dyllen, Hunter, Cameron, Ravi, Jenna, and Liam; along with
many nieces and nephews.
Arthur is predeceased by his parents; his wife, Leona Ruff (Ross); his
sisters, Damie Sisson, Jane Wright, Pearl Ashworth, Geneva Burgoyne,
Edna McGuire, Eva Brown, and Marie Larose; his brothers, Phillip,
James, Bernie, and Noah Ruff.
Funeral service was held on Sunday, March 30, 2025 at 2 pm from
Brunswick Funeral Home. Father Harold Boomer officiated. Interment
will be in the Trinity Anglican Cemetery at a later date.
Music for the service was by Carol Andersen, Stephen Hunter, and Sally
Hunter. The eulogy was given by Stephen Hunter.
Pallbearers were Michael Hunter, Sally Hunter, Liam Ruff, Tyson
McDougall, Rachel McDougall, and Eric Ruff.
For those who wish, memorial donations to the Trinity Anglican
Cemetery would be appreciated by the family.
Arrangements were entrusted to Brunswick Funeral Home, Perth-Andover,
NB.
