Passed away unexpectedly at her home in Goderich with her husband by her side on Monday, February 17, 2025 at the age of 79. Cherished wife of Tom Arthur for 60 years. Loving mom of Kendra and Gord Craig, and Graham and Leanne Arthur. Proud grandma of Carlene, and James; Logan, and Jared. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Jerry Rader (Joanne Boyes), Marlene Rader, Shirley Rader, and Elaine Tomlinson. Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, and her cousins. Predeceased by brother Ron Rader, sister-in-law Brenda Rader, and brother-in-law Jim Tomlinson.
Beyond being the anchor to Tom and her family, Carol was the queen of happy hour in Port Albert. She always had snacks and drinks at the ready for those that would arrive. Carol also had a special place in her heart for her Western relatives. She will be greatly missed by her husband and family.
A celebration of Carol’s life will be held in the Spring. Details will be posted on the Haskett Funeral Home website.
Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
