CORTEZ, Arminda Lopes (nee Correia) – surrounded by her loving family, at the Brantford General Hospital on Sunday, January 12th, 2025 in her 76th year. Beloved wife of Joao Cortez of Simcoe. Loving mother & grandmother of Ana Cortez (Joaquim Alvarinhas) of Portugal; Armenio Cortez (Tara) of Caledonia, their children Brayden & Rachel; Miguel Cortez (Silvia) of Simcoe, their daughter Ava; and Pedro Cortez of London. Lovingly remembered by her siblings Maria Curado (late Ramiro) of Simcoe, Joaquina Correia (Antonio), Belmira da Silva (late Manuel), both of Portugal and Julia Francisco (late Joaquim) of Simcoe. Predeceased by her brother Damiao Correia (late Maria). Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews & extended family. Arrangements are incomplete.
