Armand Levasseur
1944-2025
SAINT-CHARLES, NB –
Armand Levasseur, 81, of Saint-Charles Sud, passed away peacefully at
the Stella-Maris-de-Kent Hospital on Saturday, March
1st, 2025. Born in Montréal, QC, on
February 4th, 1944, he was the son of the late
Elphège Levasseur and late Régina (Guitard)
Levasseur).
Before his retirement, Armand
worked at Service New Brunswick for over 32 years and spent 15 years
at City Argo in Miramichi. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing,
hunting, snowmobiling, boating, and traveling. Armand was also known
for his kindness, often helping those in need whenever he
could.
Armand will be sadly missed by
his partner of 26 years, Ella of Saint-Charles, by his son,
Marc-André Levasseur of Moncton, and by his brother, Michel
Levasseur (Denise) of Grand-Digue.
Besides his parents, he was
predeceased by his first wife Roberte (King) Levasseur.
As per Armand’s wishes,
there will be no visitation. A funeral Mass will be celebrated on
Tuesday, March 11th,2025, beginning at 11:00AM
at the Saint-Charles-Borromée R.C. Church, in
Saint-Charles. Interment at the Saint-Antoine-de-Padoue R.C. Cemetery
will be announced at a later date.
