Armand Leo Deschaine Obituary
Peacefully, on Thursday, January 16, 2025 Armand Leo Deschaine passed away at home at the age of 93 year. Beloved husband of Edelina Teresa Gonzales Diaz de Deschaine for 56 loving years. Loving father of Tessie Deschaine, Jessie Deschaine and Husband Ken Santana, and Arnold Deschaine and wife Sherrie Abby Lim-Deschaine. Proud grandfather of Skylar Santana and Blaze Santana. Armand will be lovingly remembered by his nieces, nephews and other relatives in the Windsor area as well as Peru. Also missed by his loving dog Chica.
A Crane Operator that specialized in constructing water towers, Armand travelled the world for work and is how he met Teresa in Peru. He was a proud father and wanted to provide the best opportunities of fun and enjoyment. In the early years of their marriage and family he owned and operated a family lodge with cottages in Restoule, Ontario; in the early years they would spend every summer beside the lodge which allowed time for fishing and water sports. Known for his jokes but serious about motorcycles. Armand will be remembered as a good and honest family man.
Friends may visit with the family at KITCHING, STEEPE & LUDWIG FUNERAL HOME, 146 Mill St. N., Waterdown on Thursday, January 23, 2025 from 4 p.m. until the start of Funeral Prayers at 5 p.m. with a reception to follow. Cremation has taken place. Please sign the Tribute Wall.
