Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Archibald Russell Butt at the age of 71. At his family residence in Cormack, NL, on Friday, January 17th, 2025.
Arch was born in Cormack, the son of Russell and Elizabeth Butt. Arch grew up in Cormack and worked in the woods industry and farming with his father. Even in though he did move for work to Alberta, Ontario, and Labrador he was always drawn back home to Cormack. He loved “the woods” harvesting the trees, hunting moose, rabbit catching and salmon fishing at big falls.
He leaves to mourn 2 daughters; Jennifer (Adam) and Victoria and one grandson Ethan all in Oshawa
Also three brothers; Randy (Elaine) of Edmonton, Brian and Paul of Cormack and two sisters Bonnie (garland) of Cormack and June (Paul) of spruce grove. Also large circle of niece’s nephew’s cousins and friends. Predeceased by father and mother and brothers; James and Raymond
Archibald’s wish was to have cremation. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
