NUSCA, Anthony John (Tony)
March 26, 1942 – February 28, 2025
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Tony Nusca on the evening of Friday, February 28, 2025. Beloved husband and best friend of the late Betty Nusca (2018) for 52 years. Loving father of Debbie Walker (Chris), Rob (Carol), Chris (Rosanne), and Mark (Daniela). Cherished grandfather of Madison, Kristen, Katie, Rachel, Natalie, James, Gabriel and the late Christian (2007). Predeceased by his parents Luigi and Elisabetta Nusca. Beloved brother and brother-in-law of Nilvia and the late Brian Salvo (2017). Tony will always be remembered by many nieces and nephews.
Tony was born in Gagliano Aterno, Italy, and moved to Canada at the age of 9 where he later met the love of his life, Betty. Tony was a devoted father, a successful businessman, a great cook and gardener. He enjoyed hosting lively family gatherings, and spending time with grandchildren. He will always be remembered for his warm and generous spirit, and his witty sense of humour.
A special thanks to the Oaklands team at Tansley Woods Long-term Care and the amazing staff at Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital for the excellent care and compassion.
