Annunziata “Nancy” Siciliano Obituary
Annunziata Siciliano, known to close friends and family as Nancy Siciliana, of Beamsville Ontario, at just 61 years old, died unexpectedly on February 9, 2025 after struggling a number of years with ALS. She was born on February 15, 1963 in Toronto Ontario, and leaves behind a legacy of warmth and kindness. Nancy walked through life with great strength, touching the lives of everyone she encountered with an unforgettable grace.
As an advocate for adult literacy, fundraising, and bridging the gap between seniors and computer technology through The Seniors Computer Lab Project, she devoted much of her time and resources to making the world a better and accessible place. She obtained her degree from the Canadian college of Homeopathic Medicines (D.S. Hom. Med) and most recently committed much of her time as an adult educator. Nancy found value and beauty in life’s simple and more complex moments, encouraging us all to do the same.
Nancy is survived by her loving husband Michael Ramey, feline companion Jake, her brother and sister in law Edi and Susie Siciliano, her niece and nephew Rosa and Orlando and a number of cousins. Nancy is preceded in death by her parents, Orlando and Palmarosa Siciliano.
A special mention and thank you to her cousin Diana Astolfi, who was more like a sister to her and was there for her in so many ways during her time of need. And her children Kiana and Steven who were like a niece and nephew to her and Michael. As well as the vast number of support workers and health care professionals who were there for her though the last years of her life.
She touched the lives of so many people. She will truly be missed and will never, ever, be forgotten.
Family and friends are welcome to attend an informal get together on the day of her birth, which will be held at the Fireside Room of Tallman Funeral homes (3277 King St.) on February 15 from 1:00-4:00 p.m.
