Anne Cornwall, age 97, passed away peacefully on March 16, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family. A woman of grace, strength, and unwavering dedication, she lived a life that inspired all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Born on July 12, 1927, in Rodney, Anne lived her entire life on Kintyre Line where she was a big part of the family farm operation. She was a visionary with a keen sense of style and a heart full of love. She built her dream from the ground up, owning and operating Prim Fashions, where she enjoyed shopping for and styling the ladies of the area. Her ability to balance both business and family life was a true testament to her dedication and strength.
Anne spent her final years at Beattie Manor, where she was surrounded by compassionate care and kindness. The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the staff and caregivers who provided comfort and friendship during her time there.
Beyond her career, Anne was the heart and soul of her family. She had a remarkable ability to bring people together, planning unforgettable family outings and hosting cherished dinners filled with warmth, laughter, and love. She lived by example, showing kindness, resilience, and an unwavering commitment to those she held dear. She was the kind of person you aspired to be—gracious, strong, and endlessly loving.
Anne is reunited in Heaven with Roy and those who passed before her including her brothers Frank and Jack Humphrey. She leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion, survived by her children Joan (Bob) and Brien (Karen); grandchildren Michelle (Andrew), Jeff (Lan), Denise, and John; and her great-grandchildren Kai, Kiera, Kendra, and Lachlan. Her influence will continue to shine through the lives she touched, and her memory will be forever cherished.
A celebration of Anne’s beautiful life will be held at Arn Funeral Home in Rodney with visitation at 11:30 am and service 1:30 pm, as family and friends gather to honor the incredible woman she was. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Four Counties Hospital, Crinan Presbyterian Church, or a charity of your choice in her memory.
Though she may no longer be with us in person, her love, strength, wisdom, and kindness will live on in our hearts always. She will be forever missed.
