Peacefully at the Tobique Valley Manor, Anna Jane Young of Sisson
Ridge, NB, passed away on the morning of Thursday, February 13,
2025.
Anna was born in Sisson Ridge, NB, on May 1, 1940. She was the
daughter of the late Donald and Caroline (Cuffley) Elliott. Anna
leaves behind her husband, Donald Young; her daughter, Tammy Cooper
(Luke) of Odell, NB; her sons, Terry Gamblin (Stephanie Murphy) of
Plaster Rock, NB, Todd Gamblin (Dawn Paget) of Burntland Brook, NB,
Troy Gamblin of Plaster Rock, NB; twelve grandchildren and numerous
great grandchildren; her sister, Donna Ernst (Eugene Schwartz) of
Lunenburg, NS; her brother, Harley Elliott (Karen) of Sisson Ridge,
NB; her stepsons, Dale Young (Mary) of Plaster Rock, NB, Shane Young
(Lisa) of Fredericton, NB; and four step-grandchildren.
Anna was predeceased by her parents; her son, Thomas Gamblin; her
grandson, Travis Gamblin; her daughter-in-law, Sherrie Gamblin.
Resting at the Tobique Chapel in Plaster Rock, NB, with visitation on
Monday from 1-2 pm followed by a celebration of life service at 2pm.
Pastor Daniel McKillop officiating. Interment will be in the Linton
Corner Cemetery at a later date.
For those who wish, memorial donations to the Linton Corner Cemetery
would be appreciated by the family.
