Ann Reicker Obituary

Ann Marie was a woman of deep faith and a proud member of Kennebecasis Baptist Church, where she found comfort and joy in traditional hymns and fellowship. She worked for 20 years at the Saint John Regional Hospital as a Tele-Communications Operator, where she was well respected for her professionalism and kindness. Ann Marie was also an avid bowler, a talented knitter, and loved to spend time reading, but above all, her greatest joy in life came from her family.
Ann Marie and her beloved husband John shared 69 wonderful years of marriage, filled with love, laughter, and countless memories. Together, they enjoyed travelling and treasured their time spent at their camp in Belleisle, surrounded by family and friends.
In addition to her husband, Ann Marie is remembered by her children Ronald (Terrie), Douglas (Cheryl), Robert (Joan), and Karen (Malcolm) Cookson; her son-in-law Norman Smith; her sisters Barbara (David) Field and Carolyn (Clarence) Field; brother in-law Bill Reicker, grandchildren Bradley, Sherri (Chris), Shannon (Matt), Tara (Pat), Melissa (Adam), Katie (Simon), and Stephen (Danielle); and great-grandchildren Lilly, Stephanie, Jaxon, Rowen, Parker, Simond, Millie, George, Amelia, Gabriel, and Hayden along with several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her daughter Kathryn Smith, infant son James, an infant daughter along with her siblings Raymond (Dorothy) Mantle and Thomas (Colleen) Mantle.
Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (506-646-2424), with visitation on Wednesday, October 8th, 2025, from 2–4 p.m. and 6–8 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, October 9th at 12 Noon at Kennebecasis Baptist Church, followed by interment at Ocean View Memorial Gardens after the reception.
