Ann Bonner Obituary
With broken hearts the family of Margaret Ann Bonner announces her passing which occurred peacefully at home on February 19, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She was the daughter of the late Charles and Dorothea (Dot Cosgrove) O’Brien. She was the loving wife of the late Francis “Frank” Bonner.
Ann graduated in 1960 from the St. Vincents Girls School. Three years later, she graduated in 1963 from the St. Joseph’s Hospital School of Nursing. Ann worked at the Victorian Order of Nurses in Fredericton and Saint John, at the Saint John General Hospital, St. Joseph’s Hospital and retired from Rocmaura Nursing Home.
Ann is survived by her children Peter, Christopher (Tracy), Catherine Ann (Stephen), grandchildren Liam Thomas, Audrey Walsh, Sophia Walsh and Olivia Bonner.
The family would like to express their gratitude to the KV Extra Mural Program, particularly Melissa, Jen, and Nicola, for their care, compassion, and comforting presence over the past few weeks.
Arrangements are entrusted to Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (506-646-2424). A Mass of Chrisitan Burial will be celebrated from Stella Maris Church on Monday, February 24, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. Burial will take place in St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
