Anita’s Obituary
BABIN, Anita – Age 87, formerly of Saulnierville, passed away Tuesday, January 7, 2025, in Yarmouth Regional Hospital. Born in Cape St. Mary, she was a daughter of the late Dennis and Evangeline “Eva” (Saulnier) Doucet.
Anita enjoyed many hobbies, including: knitting, needlepoint, baking, cooking, sewing, dancing and listening to Bluegrass.
She is survived by her children, Doreen Frotten, Marion (the late Jay) Vinson, Kevin (Deanna), Carl, Russel (Crisanta); siblings, Marie Madelaine Belliveau, James (Hilda), Marguerite Saulnier, Bernie (Muriel); grandchildren, Michelle, Marcel, Alex, Allison, Candice, Cadie, Camila; great-grandchildren, Isabella and Ariah; son-in-law, Mike.
She was predeceased by her husband, Henry.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Meteghan Funeral Home. A funeral mass will be held Monday, January 13, at 11am, in St. Alphonse Church with Rev. Hospice Akoffodji officiating. Burial will follow in St. Alphonse Cemetery.
