Obituary of Angela Clement
It is with heavy hearts that the family of Angela G. Clement announce her passing at the Sus Health Centre on February 7, 2025 at the age of 57.
She was born in Sus, NB on June 22, 1967; she was the daughter of Freda (Gregg) and the late Melvin Francis.
Angela was a ray of sunshine, a beacon of light and the epitome of love. She had a big boisterous laugh, that carried for what seemed like miles. She was an amazing woman with a big smile and a heart of gold.
She was never idle and rarely sat down. Taking care of other people was programmed into her, not only would she do anything she could for anyone, whether they were a stranger or friend; feeding them was her love language – no one ever went hungry when she was around.
Angela’s family was the core of her existence. Shawn was the love of her life and she cherished him beyond belief, they were married July 16, 1986 and celebrated their deep love for each other for 43 years. She loved her children unconditionally and was loved unconditionally in return; there is no bond stronger than that of a mother and her children. She thought of and loved her seven grandchildren incredibly and extraordinarily. Being their Mooma/Ma was one of the greatest highlights of her life.
Her love for children did not stop with her own, she wrapped her love around all the kids she worked with over the years. She loved them more than the world.
Angela was radiant, her heart and soul emitted a glow, and the world is dimmer without her light. She will be missed greatly by all those whose lives she touched.
She will live on in the hearts of her loving husband of 38 years, Shawn; their children: Danielle Hay and her husband Eric of Picadilly, Chantel Canrinus and her husband Tim of Nova Scotia and David Clement of Wards Creek; her mother, Freda Gregg of Penobsquis; her siblings: Cindy Hughes and her husband Ernie of Sus, Randy Francis of Saint John, Pamela Hatfield and her husband Albert of Sus and Brenda Francis and Mike Edwards of Penobsquis; her grandchildren: Cohen, Clara, Maria, Sadie, Ava, Teagan and Tessa; her father-in-law, Henri Clement of Norton; her sister-in-law, Nicole Clement and Keith Carhart of Norton; her brother-in-law, Philip Clement of Norton; as well as several nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Along with her father, she is predeceased by her mother-in-law, Darlene Clement.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sus, (506-433-1176) from where a visitation will be held on Thursday, February 13, 2025 from 1-3 and 6-8pm. A Celebration of Angela’s life will be held from Wallace Community Chapel on Friday, February 14, 2025 at 1pm with Jeanette Cosman officiating. In honor of Angela, if it is possible could you please wear something purple.
Donations to Sus Corner Elementary Breakfast Club or a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family. Donations and personal condolences to the family may be made through www.wallacefuneralhome.com
