Peacefully surrounded by family at the Chatham Kent Hospice, on Tuesday February 11, 2025, André Gerard Le Clair, age 80, of Chatham, beloved husband of 57 years to Maria (Tops) Le Clair.
Born in Kapuskasing, Ontario in 1944, son of the late Marie-Ange (Pouliot) and Hebert Le Clair.
André worked for the former Eaton Springs before his retirement. He enjoyed fishing and being outdoors, but his greatest joy came from his family.
He will be sadly missed by his children; Daniel (Mary Ellen), Christine (Mike) Pake and Michael (Diana). Cherished grandfather of Courtney, Morgan (Clay), Kirsten (Gabe), Logan, Will, Erika (James), Kaila (Cole), Madison. Great grandfather of Rowan, Sutton and Alexys. Dear brother of Gatean (Patsy) Le Francois, Melanie (Serge) Caron, Robert (Cecile) Le Clair and predeceased by siblings Rejean Le Clair and Denise (Raymond) Nolet.
As were the family’s wishes there will be no funeral home visitation or service, cremation has taken place.
Donations to the Chatham-Kent Hospice Foundation would be appreciated.
