Ambrose Kluke Obituary
It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of our dear husband and father, Ambrose Kluke. He is survived by his wife of 53 years Brenda (nee McRae), daughters Sharalyn (Charles Morgan), Patricia (Jessy Dubeau), Melissa (Brian Buchanan), Grandchildren Bradley, Brady, Hailey & Aiden Dubeau, and Great grandsons Axton & Hardy Dubeau. Also survived by one brother, Philip, and many nieces and nephews. Ambrose was born and raised on a farm in the “Polish Hills” near Otter Lake by his parents, Marshall & Rose Kluke, along with his ten brothers and sisters. Ambrose was well-known for his great passion for fiddling. He played waltzes at many parties, and faster tunes for step dancers and square dancers. Ambrose also loved horses, hunting, good food, serving and being surrounded by family. He was retired from the lumber mill in Braeside, Ontario for over 30 years. After almost 92.5 years of love, his big old earthly heart let go at the hospital in Shawville.
Thank you to Dr. Vanderstelt and the staff of General Care who took care of Ambrose in his last days, and to Jewell Rutledge who cared for him at her Centre Street home during his last months.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, March 26, 2025 in St. Edward’s Church, Bristol, Quebec at 11 a.m. Reception to follow in the lower level. Donations to the Pontiac Community Hospital Foundation – Palliative Care Unit, St. Edward’s Church, or to Centre Street Residences would be appreciated.
