Alvin William Levi
1961-2025
ELSIPOGTOG, NB – It is with great sadness that the
family announces the sudden passing of Alvin Levi 63, at this home on
Wednesday, January 29, 2025. Born in Rexton, he was the son
of the late Henry Levi Sr. and late Elizabeth (Peters) Levi.
Before retiring, Alvin was a correctional officer and was also a
social worker at Child & Family Services for many years.
He enjoyed hunting and fishing in his spare
time.
Alvin will be sadly missed by his four daughters, Loretta
Joseph (Jody), Kayla Levi-Joseph (Kendrick), Erin Levi-Joseph all of
Elsipogtog, Catherine Oulton of Moncton; two sons, Lance Levi-Joseph
(Abby), Kirk Clair both of Elsipogtog; seven grandchildren, Jodi,
Princton, Presleigh, Deltyn, Kent, Kendra, Atreus, Katie, Austin; one
great granddaughter and the mother of his children, Connie Joseph of
Elsipogtog.
He is also survived by seven sisters, Carol Levi (late
Emery), Gladys Levi (late Roy), Valerie Levi (Andy) all of Elsipogtog,
Natalie Barlow (Chief Ken) of Indian Island, Rosie Peters, Vicky Levi,
Jocelyn Levi all of Elsipogtog; five brothers, Robert Levi (Theresa),
Allan Levi (Sheila) all of Elsipogtog, Noland Levi (Cheynne) of
Eskasoni, Jonathan Joseph (Nathalie), Cory Levi both of Elsipogtog and
many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and
cousins.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by one daughter,
Kendra; two sisters, Frances Lynn, Katrea and three brothers, Henry
Levi Jr., Broderick and Ronald Peter
“Piel”.
Visitation will be held at 68 Army Street, Elsipogtog
beginning on Tuesday at 2:00 pm until time of the service. A
Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, February 6, 2025 at 10:30
am at St. Anne’s Roman Catholic Church in
Elsipogtog.
