Alice Fay’s Obituary
Alice Fay Tremblay, 80, peacefully passed away on February 11, 2025, at the Peace River Community Health Centre. Born on February 25, 1944, in Connor Creek, AB, Fay grew up there and later became a longtime resident of Manning where she raised her four children before moving to Peace River in recent years. Fay had a deep passion for reading and collecting books, and she also loved to cheer on various sporting events, especially the Oilers.
She will be missed by her children, Douglas (Sheryl), Michele Greschner (Morris), Dennis (Michelle), and Melody Laurin (Albert). Grandchildren, Nathan (Erin), Brandon (Rochelle), Brady (Bailey), Trevor (Cacey), Lane, Annalise, Jordy (Neve), and Chloe. Great grandchildren, Mathew, Jillian, Waylon, and Louie. Brothers, Dennis (Rita), Glenn (Charlotte), Merle, Larry (Donna) and numerous nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her parents, Alvin and Dorothy Arthur; sisters, Gail, Trudy and Donna; brother, Dale; niece, Kerri and nephew, Neil.
We would like to thank the staff at the Peace River Community Health Centre, Heritage Towers and Home Care for taking such good care of our mom.
A service to be held in June at the Mayerthorpe Cemetery.
