Passed away suddenly yet peacefully with family at her side on Saturday, March 8, 2025, at Huntsville District Memorial Hospital at the age of 37. She is the beloved mother of Grace and Peyton Churchward. Cherished daughter of Michael and Sheilah Gondos. Loving partner to Shane Spencer. Much loved by her brothers Bradley and Kyle (Kate) Gondos. Dear granddaughter of Gail (dec. Carl) Smith and the late Louis and Elizabeth Gondos. Alexandra will be dearly missed by her aunts and uncles; Kevin and Susan Smith, Jason and Lisa Smith, Susan and Michael Teslak, Janice (dec. Dale) Pratt and Diana and Peter Morrison, cousins, Brandon and Mitchell Smith, Dawson and Autumn Smith, Jonathan Teslak, Tyler and Jared Pratt and Dirk and Sean Morrison, nieces Lily and Beverly and nephew Vinnie. Always remembered by her daughter’s father Andrew Churchward.
A proud sixth generation Muskokan, Alexandra will be remembered by her many friends while attending high school at Huntsville High and making lasting friendships while working in the service industry. She adored and loved caring for and raising her children, which brought her the most joy.
When Alexandra was not riding horseback and spending time at the stables she could be found solving and working on various puzzles during her downtime. She loved to travel and spending time with loved ones.
A private gathering will be held at Billingsley Funeral Home, followed by cremation. Alexandra will be laid to rest at the Aspdin Community Church Cemetery. A life celebration will be held at the Huntsville Legion, time and date to be announced at a later date. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations can be made to the Aspen Valley Wildlife Sanctuary, Huntsville Hospital Critical Care, a local animal rescue or a charity of choice would be greatly appreciated by the family.
