In Loving Memory of Alexander Harasymchuk, 91 years, who passed away peacefully on Friday, April 4th, 2025, at Extendicare Countryside in Sudbury Ontario.
Beloved husband of Katherine Harasymchuk (nee Goshulak). Cherished son of Nick and Mary Harasymchuk (predeceased). Loving father of Kenneth (Karen), Dennis, Norman (Melissa). Dear grandfather of Kayla Harasymchuk, Wendy (Michael), Lori, and Marisa, and great grandfather of Timothy and Taeyo. Dear brother of Jack predeceased (Frances) Harasymchuk, Steve predeceased (Lucy) Harasymchuk, Anne (Tony predeceased) Kosokowsky, Adel predeceased (Alex) Komarnicki, and Eugene (Anna) Bayda. Will be missed by many nieces and nephews.
Alex worked at INCO for 40+ years, enjoyed travel to visit family, and watching Blue Jays baseball.
Resting at the Jackson Bernard Funeral Home, 233 Larch Street, Sudbury, Ontario. Visitation on Thursday, April 10th, 2025, from 2-4pm and 6-8pm with prayers at 7pm. Funeral Mass to be held at St. Mary’s Ukrainian Catholic Church, 40 Notre Dame Avenue, Sudbury, Ontario, on Friday, April 11th, 2025, at 10am. Internment in the Sudbury Civic Memorial Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of choice.
