Peacefully passed away surrounded by family at his side on Sunday, March 2nd, 2025, at the age of 85 years. Survived by his beloved wife Mila Subotin of 57 years. Devoted uncle to Branislava Majic and her family, Miro Saric and his family, Sister-in-law Bisarka Saric and her family, niece Sehittengruber Sandra, Shelo and family. Also survived by families from Bosnia, Hadzic, nieces Stevanovic, Miheljcic. Aleksandar will be dearly missed by all his friends in Windsor, Ontario and Florida. Predeceased by his sister Angelina Rotim.
Upon retirement, Aleksandar enjoyed retirement where he was able to spend time in Florida with his loving family and friends. He was a passionate fisherman. He also loved playing soccer and watching hockey. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him but remembered in their hearts forever.
Visitation will be held Families First East Windsor (1065 Lauzon Rd.) 519-969-5841 on Wednesday, March 5th, 2025, from 5-9pm. Visitation will continue at the funeral home on Thursday, March 6th, 2025 from 11-12pm, procession to Windsor Memorial Gardens to follow.
