Passed away at Emmanuel House, Hamilton on Sunday, February 23, 2025, at the age of 87.
Beloved husband of Maria (nee Prpar). Loved father of Sonia Hargot (Paul), Richard Baruzza (Dodi) and Mario Baruzza (late Teresa). Cherished Nonno of Daniela Rosati (Anthony), Melanie Haws (Travis), Carina, Daniel, Christian and Alexander and great-grandfather of Luca, Matteo, Lucia, Finnegan and Emma. Dear brother of Stanka, Maria and Danilo. Predeceased by his parents Antonio and Olga and his brother Paolo.
From humble beginnings, Dad forged a life in Canada with his beloved wife, Maria, raised a loving family and occupied himself in pursuit of a life that rewarded us all. He prospered and shared the bounty of his labour with family and friends alike. Dancing, Sunday dinners, travel and pool parties enriched all of our lives and we are forever grateful for his efforts.

Visitation at SMITH’S FUNERAL HOME, 454 Highway #8 (east of Millen Road) STONEY CREEK (905-664-4222) on Wednesday, February 26, 2025 from 12 noon until time of Funeral Prayers at 1 p.m. Interment Mountview Gardens, Stoney Creek.
