C’est avec le coeur lourd que la famille annonce son décès à Sudbury, le mercredi 7 mai 2025 à l’âge de 94 ans. Cher fils de feu Jean Bujold et de feue Marie -Laure (née Arsenault) Bujold. Époux bien-aimé de Alice Larocque. Beau-père aimant de Diane (André), Gilles (Francine), André, Norbert (Jacqueline), Mariline (Don), France (Fernand) et Hélène. Pépère bien-aimé de 16 petits-enfants, 31 arrière-petits-enfants et 3 arrière-arrière-petits-enfants. Frère de feue Jeannette Rousseau (de feu Aurel), de feue Gema Soucy (Guy), Roselyn et Lorraine Bujold (Paul). Il est regretté par de nombreux neveux, nièces, parents et amis. Albert est né à Bonaventure, Québec. Il est venu en Ontario très jeune. Il a travaillé pour E.B. Eddy Forest pour 25 ans. Il aimait passer du temps avec sa famille en Ontario ainsi au Québec. On va manquer sa sauce à spaghetti, ses rôtis and ses stew. Encore plus on va manquer son sourire et ses joke même si on ne les comprenait pas car il riait trop. Il aimait son temps au camp à Vermillion Lake Park ou il relaxait, jardinait ou visitait les voisins. La famille veut remercier tous les gens qui ont aidé notre père à la Villa St Joseph. Conformément à ses souhaits, il n’y aura pas de visite ni de service. Des dons par chèque ou en ligne à la Société Alzheimer ou à la Fondation St-Joseph seraient grandement appréciés. Il y aura une célébration de vie pour la famille après son enterrement à la fin de juin.
It is with heavy hearts that the family announces his passing in Sudbury, on Wednesday, May 7, 2025 at the age of 94 years. Dear son of the late Jean Bujold and late Marie-Laure (née Arsenault) Bujold. Cherished husband of Alice Larocque. Loving stepfather to Diane (André), Gilles (Francine), André, Norbert (Jacqueline), Mariline (Don), France (Fernand) and Hélène. Beloved pépère to16 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren. Brother of late Jeannette Rousseau (late Aurel), late Gema Soucy (Guy), Roselyn (Paul) and Lorraine Bujold. He will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Albert was born in Bonaventure, Quebec. He came to Ontario at an early age. He worked for E.B. Eddy Forest for 25 years. He enjoyed spending time with his family both in Ontario and Quebec. He was a great cook. We will miss his spaghetti sauce, his pot roast and stews. We will also miss his smile and his jokes even though we rarely understood them mainly because he wouldn’t stop laughing telling them. He enjoyed his time at Vermillion Lake Park where he just relaxed, gardened and mingled. The family wishes to thank the staff at St Joseph’s Villa who helped care for our dad in any way. In keeping with his wishes there will be no visitation or service. There will be a Celebration of Life just for close family following his burial which will take place towards the end of June. Donations by cheque or online to the Alzheimer’s Society or the St-Joseph’s Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
