Albert “Al” John James Obituary
Albert John James passed away peacefully on the morning of January 11, 2025, at the age of 81.
Born on June 20, 1943, in Montreal, Al met his wife Cathy in 1969 and spent the remainder of his life raising a wonderful family in Montreal, Brampton, Georgetown and the Maritimes, where he wished to be at final rest.
In the weeks before his passing, Al got to share many stories and create new and final fond memories with his family during the holidays. He will be deeply missed by his wife Cathy, children Angela (Matthew), Heather (Colin), Mark (Jackie) and grand-children, Ryan, Morgan, Eric, and Mikayla, of whom he was immeasurably proud.
Al’s family would like to extend sincere thanks to the staff at Georgetown District Hospital for their care and commitment to making his finals days comfortable.
A Celebration of Life will be planned, with details coming in the near future.
In lieu of flowers, the family would welcome donations to the Canadian Cancer Society.
