Danis, Agnes of R.R. #7 Aylmer passed away peacefully at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Monday, September 15, 2025. She was 95 years old. Beloved wife of the late Gilbert Mortier(2003). Dear mother of Roland Danis(Karen) and Joan Laur(Gary). Loving grandmother of Tracy, Niki(Greg), Aura, Roxanne, Krista(Joe), Angela(Mike), Jeff(Talya) and Jodi(Matt). Proud great-grandmother of Layne, Austin, Tyson, Carter, Addison, Ava, Ellah, Emmy, Nathan(Nicole), Joslynn, Mackenzie and Quinilyn. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by a great-grandson Emmett and a number of brothers and sisters in Belgium. Born in Torhoiet, Belgium on April 3, 1930, daughter of the late Alodor and Maria (Vandameele) DeWulf. Agnes was a member of the Our Lady of Sorrows R.C. Church and the Catholic Women’s League. Agnes loved tending to her garden and took great joy in watching the hummingbirds at her feeder. Her family meant the world to her, and she especially treasured time spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held at the H.A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Wednesday from 5-8:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, September 18, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. Interment, Queen of Peace Cemetery.
