With deep sorrow, we announce the passing of our dear mother, Agnes Paula (DeRoo) Walters, on Friday, May 9th, 2025, unexpectantly after a brief illness at the age of 77.
Beloved wife of the late David (Dib) Walters (1996). Loving mother of Wendy DenDekker and her husband Dick of Norwich, and Kim Walters of Tillsonburg.
Dear grandmother and great-grandmother of Kristen McMillen and friend Chris; Derek and Katrina DenDekker (Josiah, Olivia) of Ingersoll; Braden and Rachel DenDekker (Mckenna, Dawson, Delaney) of Tillsonburg; Kelsey and Jason Weeda (Layla, Jack) of Tillsonburg; and Jenna and Will VanVliet (Chase) of Burford.
Sister to Richard and Juanita DeRoo, Louise and Earle Sprague, Ken DeRoo and Christine Granbois, Deborah Finch and Jim Schaafsma. She will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Family and friends will be received at the Arn-Lockie Funeral Home, 45 Main Street West, Norwich, ON 519-863-3020, on Monday, May 12, 2025, from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 P.M. Funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, May 13, 2025, at 1:30 P.M. D.V. Reverend E. Hakvoort to officiate. Interment at the Otterville Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Woodstock Hospital Foundation.
