Adrian peacefully reunited with his soulmate, Mary, in heaven on March 28, 2025, at the age of 67. He was a loving father to his three children: Jon (Melissa), Rob (Amanda), and Jenn (Steph), and a devoted grandfather to his four grandsons: Rory, Jadon, James, and Wesley.
Born in Toronto on September 13, 1957, Adrian’s early life was marked by resilience and a strong work ethic. As an infant, he entered the Catholic Children’s Aid Society and was later adopted by Joan and Christopher. Adrian is survived by his 107 year old mother, Joan. Adrian was the youngest of three children in his adoptive family. In 2018, he joyously reconnected with his biological family, discovering he was one of nine siblings and met his paternal father, Bob Russell.
Adrian’s life was a testament to hard work and determination. Beginning his career at the age of seven, he worked in various roles, from paving to heavy equipment sales, leaving a lasting impact in the construction industry. He was known for his quick wit, relentless drive, and the ability to succeed no matter the challenge.
A lover of nature, Adrian found peace and comfort in the outdoors. He grew up working on a farm, where his innate love for animals flourished, and his green thumb made his gardens thrive. Whether he was playing baseball, a round of golf, enjoying a card game with friends, or simply spending time soaking up the sun, Adrian cherished life’s simple pleasures.
As a neighbour, Adrian was a friendly and approachable presence, always ready with a smile and a few dog biscuits. His generosity and kind spirit knew no bounds. Whether lending an ear to a friend or offering a helping hand, Adrian was someone you could always count on.
Adrian’s legacy lives on in the hearts of his children, grandchildren, and all who knew him. His strength, warmth, and love will be dearly missed.
The family invites everyone to a Visitation to be held on Thursday, April 3rd, 2025 at the McKersie & Early Funeral Home, located 114 Main St. E., Milton, ON between the hours of 2:00 pm and 3:00 pm. A Chapel Service will be held immediately after the Visitation at 3:00 pm. A reception will follow upstairs in the Funeral Home Lounge after the service. ( An elevator is available for those requiring assistance )
