Adrian G. Gale of Campbell’s Creek, NL, residing in Eganville, ON, in his 67th year unexpectedly passed away June 24, 2025 in Pembroke Regional Hospital in Pembroke, ON.
Beloved husband of 45 years to Christine Gale née Richardson. Loving father to Joshua & Austin Gale.
Predeceased by his parents Michael & Agnus Gale of Campbell’s Creek, NL and his father & mother in law Jim & Pearl Richardson of Eganville, ON. As well as his beloved dog Mitts and many other family members and friends from Ontario to the east coast.
Adrian came from a large family of 13 children. He also had a large family of in-laws.
Adrian will be fondly and sadly remembered by his surviving sisters, brothers, many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, his dog Willow and his long-time friends from Purolator.
He retired after 36 years at Purolator. During that time, he met many good people in his coworkers and customers. He always had dog treats when on the road for any furry friends he met along the way. Even after transferring to the Ottawa Valley from Mississauga, Adrian kept in touch with his coworker and best buddy Pete.
In retirement, Adrian became the primary caregiver for his son & his parents-in-law.
Adrian never missed any of his favourite late-night comedy shows, Formula One, NASCAR, or Indy races. He was very talented in his woodworking projects, landscaping, and photography. His family and friends will remember and cherish the memory of many weekend road trips, that Newfie sense of humour and his interest in politics – but we won’t go there.
Professional arrangements have been entrusted to Zohr Family Funeral Home, Eganville. As per his wishes, Adrian will be cremated. There will be no funeral service at this time. A celebration of life will be planned for a future date to be determined. Please consider a donation to the heart & stroke foundation or the charity of your choice.
He worked incredibly hard throughout his life to make sure his family was always looked after. He will be forever missed and we will be forever grateful for what he gave to us.
