Passed peacefully away at the Dr. Hugh Twomey Centre, Botwood, on Sunday, February 23rd, 2025, Mrs. Ada Mary Wells, age 90 years of Sandyville, NL. Leaving to mourn her loving family; daughter Doris Loveless at Cottrell’s Cove, NL; son Hubert Wells at Ontario; son in law Howard Stone at Fortune, NL; six grandchildren, Dale, Crystal, Michael, Trent, James and Ryan; 3 special great grandchildren Jayden, Deacon and Oakley; brother Hubert Banfield (Dora) at Burin, NL; brother in law Leonard Anderson at Hermitage, NL; two special sister in laws Olive Poole at GFW and Hilda Piercey at St. John’s, plus a large circle of relatives and friends, nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her husband Clayton Wells and daughter Jane Stone, son in law Clary Loveless, parents Alfred and Ester Banfield, brothers George Banfield and Jim Ashford, sisters Annie Ashford and Clara Anderson. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the St. Saviour’s Anglican Church, Hermitage.
Funeral service to be held on Wednesday, February 26th at 2:00pm with Rev Jonathan Durdle officiating. Interment to follow at the Anglican cemetery, Hermitage-Sandyville.
