Obituary of Abe Loewen
Loewen, Abe of Eden passed away at Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital on Sunday, February 23, 2025 in his 59th year. Beloved husband of Linda(Friesen) Loewen. Dear father of Shelby Loewen(Nathayot) of Kirkland Lake, Aaron Loewen of Aylmer, Hannah Loewen of Aylmer and step-father of Jessy Redekop(Annie) of Aylmer. He will be missed by his granddaughter Lydia, sister Margaret and brothers Jake(Mary), John, Ben(Debbie) and Isaac Loewen. Son-in-law of Mary Friesen and the late Jacob Friesen. Also survived by a number of nieces and nephews. Born in Mexico on March 7, 1966, son of the late Ben and Sara(Hamm) Loewen. Abe was a bookkeeper and did income tax for many people. He had a great personality and loved to voice his opinion. He experienced a serious accident in 1980, but his resilience and determination helped him navigate the challenges that followed. He built a beautiful family, whom he adored. Visitation will be held at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Thursday from 5-8:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Friday, February 28, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. Cremation will follow.
