A. Paulette Morton Obituary
With her family by her side, A. Paulette Morton passed away on March 14, 2025, at the Carleton Kirk Nursing Home. Born in Tracy, NB on December 3, 1947, she was the daughter of the late Norman and Thelma (nee. Phillips) Tracy.
Paulette is survived by her loving husband of 31 years, Robert Morton; sons: Robert Cobham, Jody (Katy) Brien, and Robert Morton Jr.; daughters: Valerie Cobham (Max Wilson), Gail Morton (Danny Marsh), and Tammy (Brian) MacDonald; 4 grandchildren; 1 great grandson; sister Francine (Bud) McDonald; sister-in-law Sandra Tracy; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents she was predeceased by her brother Lindsay Tracy.
Paulette was a true lady and was known for being a modest, kind, and reserved woman. Family meant everything to Paulette, and she always enjoyed spending time with her husband, children, grandchildren and great grandson. She was an avid reader, loved watching Heartland, and enjoyed gardening and her flowers. Paulette was known for being an excellent cook and baker. She enjoyed her trips out west to see her son Judy and her summers spent at the trailer with Bob at Wally’s campground.
The family would like to thank the staff at Carleton Kirk Nursing Home for their outstanding care and compassionate during her stay. Paulette and her family were truly appreciative of the friendships she made with both staff and residents at Carleton Kirk.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John, NB E2J 2G3; (506) 646-2424. A Celebration of Life for Paulette will be held on Wednesday, March 19, 2025, beginning at 2:00 PM in the Fundy Funeral Home Chapel. After the service the family invites you to join them for refreshments in the Fundy Funeral Home Reception Room. Donations in Paulette’s memory can be made to the Parkinsons Society.
